Chenthil R. Iyer is mechanical engineer by qualification. He joined the financial services industry in 2003 purely out of personal interest after a brief stint in the IT sector. He later acquired the coveted CFP certification and has spent the last decade coaching many finance professionals to acquire this certification. He founded his company Horus Financial Consultants Pvt. Ltd in 2009 with the vision of it becoming a Finishing School for aspiring financial planners. He has been building his own fee based financial planning practice and hand holding his associate consultants to set up their fee based practice since then. He is the brain behind the Open Portfolio Philosophy of financial planning and his personal mission is to help millions of people take control of their financial lives and reach maximal financial well-being.
